It is a structured network of customised directory websites. The personalisation feature is created via a user-designed search pathway - to source those websites. Advertisers or sellers across Australia also join our platform and substitute the Google results when they offer a perfect match - in both product/service category and location - for our customers. The end result? Higher quality search results for our customers. A better match to their search requirements - saving them TIME and MONEY.
Developed over many years for the Australian market by a Business Psychologist, the Panda Product & Service Framework is the backbone of the Panda Search platform. The framework was developed from scratch - with research sources including a number of product lists, such as categories used by the Australian Government for trademarks. Other sources include Yellow Pages categories and various websites (e.g. menus on popular retailers). The Framework is continually validated as new advertisers or sellers join the platform.
The Framework contains hundreds of Main Categories and Sub-Categories. The list makes it easy for customers to search and view, and also enables them to purchase at a more granular sub-category level. It is also easy for sellers or advertisers to select the product/service categories they offer. Many websites also have search keywords for each sub-category - adapted from search words commonly used on the internet.
